BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – Brayden Eidenshink is continuing his fight for life, but his family said Wednesday that “all organs are failing.”
But, the recovery has been rough.
Last week, Brayden was put on life-support at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital in Palo Alto.
Wednesday, his family said in a Facebook post that “liver, kidney and heart are failing.” His family has been keeping the community updated on Brayden’s condition via the Facebook page Brayden’s Brave Heart.
He has now been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and is starting dialysis.
His family said his heart is stable, and he will wake up and respond. And they’re hopeful medication changes will help him.
Meanwhile, friends and family are trying to support the family with a GoFundMe page and raffle drawing.
