DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Former Buckeye quarterback Braxton Miller teamed up with the Heart Institute of Dayton for a Q & A with football fans Thursday night.

Along with talking football, the goal was also to raise awareness about the importance of heart health.

The CDC estimates one in four Americans die each year from some form of heart disease.

All ticket proceeds from the event went toward The Heart Institute of Dayton, a non-profit institution dedicated to cardiovascular education.

Miller is originally from Springfield and played high school football at Wayne before going on to play for Ohio State and the Philadelphia Eagles.
