Author Biography

Doris Mataya

Doris Mataya was raised on a ranch in northern California. She married Joseph Mataya in 1953. They are both alumni of Multnoma Bible College. They are still married and have four grown children and six grandchildren.

Since 1961 Doris has been a missionary and a pastor's wife. During and since her college days she has been teaching classes ranging from children to adults. She taught at her children's Christian school. Through the years she has been grieved to see how plummeting morals and values are affecting our society. This has caused her to add to her writing, subjects addressing current issues in the light of Scripture. Doris has been published in a wide variety of magazines as varied as Pastor's Family of Focus on the Family and Western Horseman. She has also been published in newspapers and is a columnist for a local newspaper.
