The Spirit Speaks Today

Synopsis

“He who has an ear to hear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the Churches” (Christ – in a loving Command to all His church – Revelation Chapters 2 & 3)

But – is the Christian church listening today?

A book of Scriptural warnings for “those who have an ear to hear” echoing our Lord’s warnings to His church 2,000 years ago and today!

Yes, the Holy Spirit in each believer ‘Speaks Today,’ but this is not His only Role in our church life. All Christians must seek, hear, and Follow the ‘Spirit of Truth,’ our ‘Counselor,’ our ‘Guide to All Truth’ (John Ch. 14, 16). Truth is found only in the inspired, infallible Written Word of God. He will show us our sins and disobedience brought about by our following Satan and his agents (false teachers, 2 Pet. 2:1). Christ, the Divine church Head asks that we ‘obey Him if we love him’; to be ‘one, as He and His Father are One’; to carry out all His Commands faithfully. Churches today are often divided; disobedient; follow false men instead of obeying Christ's Teachings and Commands. We can't please Him, and be the ‘Holy, Radiant, sinless, and blameless church’ He seeks (Eph. 5:26ff) unless we go to the Spirit of Truth, and, finding sin, repent, ‘overcome it, and do His Will to the end’ (Rev. Ch. 2 & 3). Go back to the New Testament Truth. Ask the Spirit to Guide you there to His Truth. Become obedient—pleasing Him in all things—for He is Coming Soon (Rev. 22:7, 20). I pray He might find us a Holy, Sinless and Blameless church.

And, remember, this Guidance from God, His Spirit, and from the Written, Inspired, Word of God in the N.T. portion of the Bible for all Christians comes from the Divine Head, our Lord Himself.
